As a discerning traveler always on the lookout for hidden gems, I decided to stay at Extended Stay for its purported value. The room may have had a fresh coat of paint, but appearances can be deceiving. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch, but the overall ambience left much to be desired. The pet-friendly policy was convenient, although the lack of amenities like air conditioning and quality toiletries left a lot to be desired. The 24-hour reception was helpful, but the presence of a lift would have been appreciated.While the hotel may have been easy on the wallet, the sacrifices in comfort and luxury were palpable. Admittedly, I was hoping for a bit more flair and finesse in terms of furnishings and facilities.In hindsight, I can't help but feel that my expectations were slightly misplaced. For those seeking budget-friendly accommodation without compromising too much on basic conveniences, Extended Stay might suffice. But for travelers who appreciate a touch of luxury and pampering, perhaps it's worth looking elsewhere.
